Job Summary

Advise Defence and energy sector clients on developing, implementing, and optimizing procurement and funding strategies aligned to Net Zero. Support business case development and major infrastructure delivery across the programme lifecycle, using HMT/Green Book methodology and economic benefit assessment. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to assess strategic and commercial challenges, influence stakeholders, and present clear outputs, while contributing to bid proposals and business development.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with Defence and energy sector clients, including public and private programme stakeholders.
•Develop and optimize procurement and funding strategies to support greener, sustainable outcomes and Net Zero targets.
•Contribute to business case development and the assessment of major programme set up, development, and delivery across lifecycle stages.
•Use established processes, tools, and systems to tailor advice and improve continuous delivery quality.
•Engage with stakeholders to implement solutions, present clear outputs, and help identify and progress business generation opportunities.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Must be able to attain UK MoD Security Clearance (British Nationals only need apply).
•Experience of government Greenbook business case development.
•Ability to write HMT Green Book Business across all five cases.
•Experience working in Defence and/or public infrastructure, including managing transactions/projects in public sector delivery settings.
•Knowledge of economic benefit assessment, including social value, community benefits, and low carbon transition.
