Key Responsibilities

•Lead complex geotechnical investigations, advanced analyses, design reviews, and construction-phase services.
•Guide multidisciplinary teams through full project life cycles with clear technical direction.
•Evaluate intricate soil and rock conditions using advanced modelling to deliver robust, defensible recommendations.
•Shape methodologies, standards, and innovation within WSP’s northern geotechnical practice.
•Mentor and develop staff across levels, fostering strong capability and succession growth.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Civil or Geological Engineering, plus registration as a P.Eng. in Canada (or eligibility with Engineers Yukon).
•15+ years of progressive geotechnical consulting experience, including northern, transportation, infrastructure, municipal, or resource-sector projects.
•Recognized expertise in advanced geotechnical analysis, subsurface evaluation, and construction considerations.
•Ability to influence technical direction, guide teams, and support strategic decision-making.
•Proficiency with geotechnical platforms such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, or equivalent tools.
