Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the organizational design, long-term hiring strategy, and culture for the embedded systems team.
  • •Define technical playbooks, coding standards, and platform methodologies for modular, testable, hardware-flexible embedded systems.
  • •Integrate AI tools across the firmware lifecycle, including automation for code generation, unit testing, and predictive maintenance.
  • •Lead technical relationships with JDM/ODM partners, defining specifications and interface points for high-velocity collaboration.
  • •Provide roadmap oversight across embedded pillars (multi-modal sensing, multi-protocol communications, SoC/porting strategy, fleet OTA delivery, secure boot, and HIPAA-compliant data handling) and act as a cross-functional technical bridge.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •12+ years of embedded systems engineering experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role, building and scaling engineering departments for mission-critical IoT or consumer electronics.
  • •Expert knowledge across embedded platforms (MCU RTOS to MPU-based Embedded Linux) and experience defining architectures for low-power, multi-modal sensing ecosystems.
  • •Practical experience implementing AI-driven CI/CD pipelines and LLM-assisted tools to accelerate firmware development while maintaining code quality.
  • •Experience leading JDM/ODM partnerships (including in Asia) with clear technical documentation and rigorous quality accountability.
