Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee overall production, flow, accuracy, content and every element of each newscast.
  • •Lead the newsroom by communicating vision and needs to assignment editors, anchors, VJs, editors and production crews.
  • •Integrate station platforms to showcase news production and align with audience/mission priorities.
  • •Collaborate with the Executive Producer on special projects and coverage.
  • •Write headlines, teases, and lead-ins; plan and execute live shots and live remotes during newscasts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field (or proven equivalent experience).
  • •Must be fluent in Spanish and English (read, write, and speak).
  • •Minimum of 2 years of News Producer experience.
  • •Experience in line-production and boothing live events, live shots, and newscasts.
  • •Must have leadership, be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle intense deadline pressure.
