Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and support overall outcomes.
  • •Plan and organize classroom provision, learning resources, and displays to create a positive learning environment.
  • •Assess, track, and record student development using Target Tracker, using data to influence planning and intervention.
  • •Follow and implement the school behavior policy, manage classes effectively, and act as a positive role model.
  • •Work with colleagues and parents/carers (including Parent Teacher Conferences) and contribute to wider school life, events, and a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
  • •Clear understanding of the curriculum and ability to plan, prepare, and present lessons for the whole ability range.
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
