Job Summary

Lead multibody dynamics (MBD) and structural simulation work for complex aerospace mechanical systems, building high-fidelity models for nacelle, landing gear, flight control mechanisms, and door systems. Correlate simulations to physical testing, create reduced-order flex body models, and perform MBD–control co-simulation using MATLAB/Simulink. Support product development with trade/sensitivity studies, cross-functional collaboration, and technical documentation including engineering reports and certification documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform kinematic and dynamic analysis on complex mechanical systems using multibody dynamics (preferably MSC ADAMS).
•Develop high-fidelity multibody dynamic models for systems such as nacelle, landing gears, flight control mechanisms, and door systems, and correlate simulation results to physical tests.
•Support product development by providing simulation-based insights for design decisions, including trade/sensitivity studies and system integration/optimization.
•Develop free-body diagrams and perform first-principles hand calculations to verify simulations.
•Create reduced-order flex body models and perform MBD–control co-simulation by integrating MBD models with control models in MATLAB/Simulink; improve modeling standards and produce technical documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, or related engineering discipline with 4–6 years of experience in a similar role.
•Experience executing multibody dynamic simulations (rigid and flex bodies) and structural simulations (linear/non-linear).
•Experience working on aerospace mechanical systems or comparable complex mechanical products.
•Hands-on experience with simulation tools such as MSC ADAMS and MSC Nastran, plus tools like HyperMesh/MSC Patran/FEMap and Catia V5/V6.
•Basic scripting experience (Python, MATLAB, or similar) for simulation automation and post-processing.
