Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate and review transcriptions using internal ASR and transcription systems.
  • •Ensure transcription accuracy against acoustic recordings and follow internal quality standards.
  • •Classify utterances, speaker turns, and dialogue contexts while maintaining consistent labeling across datasets.
  • •Identify and annotate target wake words in audio files, including precise onset and offset times.

Key Requirements

  • •Native, bilingual, or multilingual proficiency in one or more of: North American English, Latin American Spanish, or Canadian French.
  • •Comfort transcribing a wide range of accents within the target language(s), including foreign/non-native accents.
  • •Comfort transcribing points of interest (POIs), geographic references, and navigation/wayfinding terminology (e.g., street names, landmarks, directions).
  • •Comfort working with computers and transcription software/tools.
  • •Bachelor’s degree, or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, in Linguistics or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience.
