Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with a cross-functional engineering team (RF, DSP, Firmware, FPGA, software, Test) to deliver embedded processing solutions for communications and networking.
  • •Execute and optimize the FPGA firmware development lifecycle from algorithm/requirements through architecture, design, development, testing, integration, and sustainment.
  • •Establish and optimize comprehensive product development workflows for the HDL firmware lifecycle, including simulation, verification, and system testing.
  • •Develop microProcessor ICDs between FPGA and message/data handling schemes.
  • •Support testing and sustainment using basic EE test equipment and troubleshoot FPGA/board designs as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • •6+ years designing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based systems using VHDL or Verilog.
  • •Experience taking firmware/software from concept to production within cross-functional hardware and/or embedded product development teams.
  • •Experience using code generators to translate MATLAB/Simulink algorithms into FPGA implementations.
  • •Proficiency with C and C++ and familiarity with RTOS and common interfaces (e.g., Ethernet, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB).
