Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and build a scalable test automation framework for Anywhere Cloud’s multi-cluster architecture.
  • •Own an API-first testing strategy with comprehensive test suites for public REST APIs.
  • •Automate end-to-end data application migration user flows involving Spark, Airflow, and data warehouse products.
  • •Serve as the prime technical contact for quality: define testing standards, mentor senior engineers (IC2/IC3), and influence design to ensure testability.
  • •Partner with Taikun (Kubernetes) and Foundational Services teams to integrate components (Cert Manager, DBs, Logging) into the AWC test matrix.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc/MSc in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • •8+ years of professional Software in Test (SDET) or Quality Engineering experience, with a track record as a Staff/Lead Engineer (IC4) building large-scale test automation for distributed systems or cloud-native control planes.
  • •Expert coding proficiency in Go (Golang), Python, or Java to build test frameworks, mock services, and custom Kubernetes operators.
  • •Deep expertise testing Kubernetes workloads, including CRDs, Helm deployments, and container registries (OCI).
  • •Advanced hands-on understanding of modern compute/streaming and lakehouse architectures (Spark, Flink, Kafka, Apache Iceberg).
