Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into clear, simple solutions.
  • •Support project management activities to deliver tasks on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • •Review asset condition data to support asset management planning work and communicate technical and non-technical information.
  • •Provide technical assurance for delivery of lifecycle renewal activities, with health, safety, and the environment as key focal points.
  • •Contribute to lifecycle renewal planning and delivery through asset data management and forward plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering with previous experience in the highways sector.
  • •Be professionally qualified with a recognised institution or be working towards professional qualification.
  • •Understand the strategic road network and the operation and maintenance of key asset categories with a focus on asset management.
  • •Specialise in at least one asset type, preferably highway bridges and structures.
  • •Demonstrate competency in managing asset data, developing forward plans, and supporting lifecycle renewal delivery.
