Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate turbofan supply chain production flow from supplier selection and qualification through manufacturing, assembly, testing, and delivery of certified engines or prototypes.
  • •Work with Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Industrialization teams to select and qualify suppliers and advise on material and raw material selection choices.
  • •Develop and coordinate make-or-buy and supply chain strategy for the Turbofan department to secure the delivery plan.
  • •Align manufacturing, assembly, and test schedules based on product and supplied parts delivery timelines.
  • •Assess and mitigate supply chain and production-delivery risks, ensuring correct application of international laws, standards, Powertech processes, and export control rules.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience in turbofan propulsion supply chain selection and qualification.
  • •Deep understanding of turbofan architectures, sub-systems integration constraints, and performance drivers/technology interfaces.
  • •Strong knowledge of material selection/characteristics and manufacturing process impact, including lifetime, repeatability, flaws characterization, and properties.
  • •Solid knowledge of supply chain structure for aeroengines and key players across countries including Morocco, India, France, and Poland.
  • •Strong knowledge of the European/EMEA turbofan supply chain and tier-1/tier-2 suppliers, plus experience with manufacturing/production, FAI, Validation and Qualification, and AS9100/industrial quality.
