Key Responsibilities

  • •Orient and instruct new drivers and assist the supervisor with directing employees’ work.
  • •Communicate with supervisor/manager to ensure vehicle flow and maintain logs of stock numbers and lot locations.
  • •Manage vans and transport drivers/employees and vehicles according to schedule to assigned destinations.
  • •Perform daily van maintenance and routine checks, including cleaning and servicing with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • •Lead the team at the location by modeling safety behaviors and enforcing policies, and support staffing/work-volume planning to meet metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or equivalent combination), or 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving ability.
  • •Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • •Basic mechanical knowledge (e.g., changing flat tires, checking fluids, jump starting).
  • •Knowledge of lot operations/lot layout and ability to use mobile devices including scanners to manage workflow.
