Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care by assessing and reassessing patient needs, implementing and monitoring medical plans, and documenting pertinent data.
  • •Develop and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, the patient, and family members.
  • •Record and monitor vital signs, recognize and escalate abnormalities, administer medications, and manage side effects, reactions, and treatments such as IV fluids or blood products.
  • •Perform perioperative and surgical support roles as a scrub nurse and circulating nurse, including aseptic technique, pre-operative checklist compliance, and correct patient and surgical site identification.
  • •Maintain surgical safety protocols (e.g., “Time Out”), ensure proper room setup and equipment preparation, and provide wound care and life support as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with all required qualifications and experience in the relevant regulatory health authority.
  • •Manage own professional re-licensure.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider & ACLS card.
  • •Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
