Key Responsibilities

  • •Design innovative drainage systems for civil infrastructure projects.
  • •Lead and coordinate drainage design elements to meet project goals and client expectations.
  • •Partner with Principal Engineers on large-scale projects and own your deliverables.
  • •Produce high-quality design reports and drawing packages.
  • •Collaborate with engineers across multiple Queensland office locations to support current and future projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • •Minimum 3 years’ experience in drainage design, preferably for transport infrastructure projects.
  • •Knowledge of Austroads guidelines, TMR standards and specifications, ARR, and QUDM; rail drainage standards and specifications are a plus.
  • •Hands-on experience with stormwater and drainage design, including open channels, culverts, pit and piped systems.
  • •Proficiency with tools like 12D, DRAINS, and MUSIC; experience with dynamic drainage within 12D and/or TUFLOW is a bonus.
