Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead geotechnical, ground engineering or tunnelling projects from concept through to operation in the UK and abroad.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions across sectors (Energy, Rail, Highways, Water, Development, Defence, Nuclear, Data Centres, Ports & Marine).
  • •Mentor and develop junior engineers and engineers-geologists within the team.
  • •Apply current design codes and standards, and adopt new tools and methods as appropriate.
  • •Travel within the UK to project sites and client locations; maintain a clean driving licence.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (BSc or MSc) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
  • •Progress towards Chartered status would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. The team will provide support in achieving chartered status.
  • •Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical or structural/tunnel design (role dependent).
  • •Proven leadership experience in similar roles, appropriate to your level, with an ability to inspire and lead teams.
  • •Willingness to travel throughout the UK and hold a clean driving licence.
