Job Summary

Support contaminated land assessment and remediation by supervising site investigations and carrying out fieldwork such as soil logging, environmental sampling, and ground gas monitoring. Collate, review, and interpret data, help design site investigations, and prepare technical reports including desk studies and remediation studies. Work with clients and project teams while meeting safety, health, and environmental standards, based primarily in North/North East England.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and manage site investigations for contaminated land assessment and remediation projects.
•Conduct fieldwork including soil logging, environmental sampling, and ground gas monitoring.
•Collate, review, and interpret data to support decision-making and reporting.
•Support site investigation design and subcontractor management as needed.
•Prepare technical reports, including desk studies, site investigation reports, remediation studies, and verification reports, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Key Requirements

•On-site experience of site investigation and similar field works.
•Experience preparing Phase 1 contaminated land/geo-environmental desk studies.
•Knowledge of planning, designing, and managing site investigations.
