Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop detailed designs for medium-voltage electric distribution systems (overhead and underground) and ensure safety, client, budget, and schedule requirements are met.
  • •Produce construction-ready drawings and perform system layouts and material estimates, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
  • •Review and advise on third-party design documents, procurement lists, and project plans.
  • •Create plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including construction safety and phasing plans and electrical infrastructure layout updates.
  • •Prepare technical reports/presentations, support inspections/investigations, and develop/implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •5 to 7 years of post-education electrical engineering experience delivering design work for large capital projects.
  • •Engineer in Training Certification.
  • •Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and design/build/permitting-related work and issues.
  • •Proficiency with technical writing and electrical design software/tools (e.g., CADD, AutoCAD-related tools) to prepare deliverables and calculations.
