Key Responsibilities

  • •Actively participate in the technical and analytical work of the section, liaising with the Team Lead on test appropriateness and additional testing.
  • •Monitor, record, and report results; identify and resolve issues affecting test performance or reporting, and respond to test requisition/specimen/prioritization queries.
  • •Collect laboratory specimens and perform assigned procedures and diagnostic tests, including pediatric and adult phlebotomy for difficult veins.
  • •Verify critical results and ensure complete, accurate documentation in the LIS or requisition forms.
  • •Plan, perform, and evaluate laboratory testing and quality control activities, ensuring compliance with JCI, CAP, and ISO15189 guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years’ experience in clinical laboratories as a licensed Clinical Scientist or Technologist.
  • •3+ years of phlebotomy experience in a pediatric hospital.
  • •3+ years as a Technologist in a CAP or ISO15189 laboratory (preferred).
  • •2+ years in GCC (preferred).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
