Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform planned and preventative maintenance across a fleet of heavy road transport equipment
  • •Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with Rio Tinto policies and procedures
  • •Maintain heavy road transport equipment including trucks and related systems
  • •Maintain cranes (Liebherrs and Frannas) where applicable
  • •Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects to reduce safety risk and cost

Key Requirements

  • •Heavy Duty Fitter or Plant Mechanic trade qualification
  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • •Experience maintaining Volvo, Scania, MAN and Isuzu trucks
  • •Crane maintenance experience (Liebherrs and Frannas) is preferable
  • •An Australian C Class manual drivers’ licence (or equivalent)
