Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment; unload empty skids and return equipment.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping bills of lading and other required paperwork; deliver documentation when routes are complete.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for the weight of vehicle to be operated.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
  • •Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and travel frequently.
