Job Summary

Work on WSP’s Building Services team in Bengaluru, producing detailed mechanical engineering designs and construction drawings for US projects. Apply HVAC/mechanical design expertise to create duct and pipe designs, perform load calculations (Carrier-HAP, Trane-TRACE), and develop air and water flow diagrams. Use Revit and AutoCAD for live-project modeling, review submittals, respond to RFIs, and flex across multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Produce detailed engineering designs and construction drawings for US building services projects.
•Develop duct and pipe designs, including air-flow and water-flow diagrams.
•Perform load calculations using Carrier HAP and Trane TRACE/TRACE 700.
•Model in live projects using Revit and AutoCAD without BIM-person assistance.
•Review submittals and respond to RFIs while supporting multiple concurrent projects.

Key Requirements

•4 to 7 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering design for building services and construction drawings.
•Strong duct and pipe design skills for HVAC/mechanical systems.
•Hands-on load calculation experience using Carrier HAP and/or Trane TRACE (including TRACE 700).
•Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, able to model on live projects without BIM support.
•Experience with hydronic chilled water and hot water piping systems, including ability to size/select basic HVAC equipment.
