Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pre-coating operations including surface preparation and masking.
  • •Perform post coating tasks such as removing parts from fixtures, removing masking, troubleshooting, and diagnosing malfunctioning equipment.
  • •Perform minor repairs on coating equipment where applicable.
  • •Check parts to meet visual and dimensional requirements using micrometers, verniers, height gauges and other fixed gauges.
  • •Assist engineers and others in developing new or changed operations and recommend parameter/process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •0-1 years related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+ years related experience.

  • •Experience with computerized machine operation.
  • •Experience with precision measuring instruments such as feeler gauges, verniers, calipers and micrometers.
