Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and restore PLC/HMI/SCADA-controlled equipment across automated material handling and packaging systems.
  • •Use diagnostics and field verification to isolate faults (I/O, sensors, safety devices, communications) and execute safe recovery actions to minimize downtime.
  • •Diagnose electrical and controls failures involving sensors/photo-eyes, encoders, safety circuits, relays/contactors, power supplies, motor starters, and control wiring using schematics and test equipment.
  • •Support VFDs/servo drives and motor control systems by troubleshooting faults and validating parameters/settings, coordinating repairs or replacements.
  • •Perform controls preventive maintenance (panel inspections, device health checks, cleaning/securement, and verification of alarms/interlocks) and troubleshoot scan/vision systems and automation-to-WMS/WCS interfaces.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
  • •2+ years of experience supporting industrial automation or controls systems.
  • •Working knowledge of PLC systems with ability to navigate logic for troubleshooting.
  • •Experience with HMI interfaces and alarm/fault diagnostics.
  • •Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
