Technical mechanical engineer role supporting oil and gas projects for ADNOC Onshore in Abu Dhabi. You will provide mechanical equipment design expertise, ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, coordinate with EPC/construction teams, and review engineering deliverables from consultants and contractors while contributing to safe, high-quality project execution from the Abu Dhabi office.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical expertise in all mechanical equipment design and ensure design and engineering compliance with ADNOC standards.
•Coordinate, monitor and handle static equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project timelines.
•Work with IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering/Operation/Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality discipline engineering execution.
•Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
•Interface with Contractor’s engineering and project management teams and assist in design optimization and validation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience with international codes and standards and knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.
•Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
•Provide technical expertise in mechanical equipment design and coordinate with EPC contractors to ensure project delivery within timelines.
