Join the Naval Ships Future Business & Technology team to identify and evaluate new technologies early in the ship design lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

•Identify and evaluate new technologies early in the design lifecycle for future ship design.
•Develop technologies for future products, services, specifications, designs, and developments using theoretical and practical engineering knowledge.
•Resolve a range of engineering issues and problems, with support and supervision as required.
•Develop qualification requirements for onboarding new technology support, including peer reviews and verification activities.
•Compile technical reports and presentations to mature technologies as solutions for Engineering selection.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 45,500

Key Requirements

•Depth and breadth of engineering knowledge and experience in a Naval Ship or similar technology business.
•Assessing mindset to model, quantify, and characterise problems, and generate innovative solutions.
•Ability to design and develop solutions for assigned products, resolving technical issues with supervision.
•Develop qualification requirements for the on-boarding of new technology and support peer reviews and verification activities.
•Conduct qualification testing for new technologies.
