Job Summary

This highly visible technical execution role focuses on delivering high-quality embedded AMD firmware for x86 platforms. You will guide ODM/OEM customers on integration, analyze and debug issues across the SW stack, validate new features, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive customer success in automotive embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide guidance to ODM/OEM customers on effectively integrating AMD processor automotive products and custom designs. Guidance consists of architecture reviews, design-in support, and training customers on product features.
•Analyze, debug, & root cause issues found with AMD processor enabled platform, SW stack and work with appropriate development teams to provide a solution.
•Validate new SW features before releasing them to customers
•Train field sales and support staff in the features and uses of AMD products.
•Author technical paper, reference solutions, applications note internally as well as externally for NDA customers or public publications.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (preferred).
•Strong understanding of x86 processor architecture and embedded systems, with a track record in automotive infotainment or embedded platforms.
•Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with experience developing software for CPUs/GPUs, BSP/HAL, and kernel-level components.
•Experience analyzing, debugging, and root-causing issues in processor-enabled platforms and SW stacks, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
•Ability to design-in support and train customers or field teams on product features and integration.
