Key Responsibilities

•Manage RAM processes according to sector standards (e.g., EN 50126 for rail) and perform planning, analysing, verifying, and reporting activities.
•Lead the RAM team to deliver planned activities and manage sub-contractors.
•Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management across projects.
•Use your knowledge to support bids, advisory work, strategic decisions, and client relationship management.
•Mentor junior RAM members, acting as the focal point for technical guidance and promoting innovative RAM techniques.

Key Requirements

•A degree in a technical engineering discipline or extensive relevant experience.
•RAM engineering experience (rail desirable, but not essential).
•Corporate membership with a relevant professional institution (e.g. SaRS, IET, IMechE).
•Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (or significant progression towards that goal).
•Proven ability to deliver RAM activities and provide technical leadership to a RAM/Safety engineering team.
