Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage RAM processes according to sector standards (e.g., EN 50126 for rail) and perform planning, analysing, verifying, and reporting activities.
  • •Lead the RAM team to deliver planned activities and manage sub-contractors.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management across projects.
  • •Use your knowledge to support bids, advisory work, strategic decisions, and client relationship management.
  • •Mentor junior RAM members, acting as the focal point for technical guidance and promoting innovative RAM techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in a technical engineering discipline or extensive relevant experience.
  • •RAM engineering experience (rail desirable, but not essential).
  • •Corporate membership with a relevant professional institution (e.g. SaRS, IET, IMechE).
  • •Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (or significant progression towards that goal).
  • •Proven ability to deliver RAM activities and provide technical leadership to a RAM/Safety engineering team.
