Key Responsibilities

  • •Process daily teller transactions in lobby and drive-up locations, including deposits, loan payments, check cashing, savings withdrawals, night/mail deposits, cashier’s checks, and savings bonds.
  • •Answer client questions in person and over the telephone.
  • •Identify basic cross-sell and referral opportunities by determining client needs and directing clients to a banker.
  • •Complete special client requests such as closing accounts, ordering checks, exchanging foreign currency, providing statements/copies, completing referrals, and safe-deposit box procedures.
  • •Reconcile cash drawer by verifying cash transactions, counting and packaging currency/coin, submitting excess/mutilated currency, and maintaining cash supplies while complying with security and operations procedures.
