Job Summary

Support manufacturing operations as a senior automation technician by implementing and troubleshooting PLC/HMI-controlled equipment and optimizing manufacturing process control systems. Coordinate new equipment installation and MES integration events, maintain and update electrical drawings, and implement software upgrades from Controls Engineering. Partner across departments, uphold safety and housekeeping standards, and provide solutions to control problems through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, repair, problem-solve, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
•Assist with coordination of new equipment installation and implementation, including MES integration events.
•Maintain and update manufacturing process tool electrical drawings, documenting equipment changes and keeping drawings current.
•Implement new software changes/upgrades specified by the Controls Engineering Department and identify solutions for control problems and continuous improvement projects.
•Ensure adherence to safety procedures and good housekeeping standards; operate first shift during pilot line setup/commissioning and transition to a 12-hour crew schedule during ramp.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30.05 - 42.79 hourly

Key Requirements

•Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Controls, or Electronic Engineering (preferred).
•Minimum 10 years of manufacturing equipment electrical/electronic/controls experience, or 15+ years without a degree in a related field.
•Excellent ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic control systems in a manufacturing environment, including pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
•Proficiency reading electrical/mechanical drawings and suggesting modifications as required.
•Demonstrated ability programming/troubleshooting Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs and HMI solutions (FactoryTalk View ME; Proface a plus), plus servo motion applications.
