Job Summary

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and company assets at the Humboldt plant while keeping a safe work environment and following Tyson policies. You’ll support continuous production by setting up, adjusting, and breaking down line machinery, creating work orders and daily documentation in Tyson SAP software, and completing required training. The role requires strong electronic skills and knowledge of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical/electronics, and welding.

•Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while adhering to Tyson safety policies and procedures.
•Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production by setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery.
•Learn and use Tyson SAP software to create work orders and complete required daily documentation.
•Use math to make work-related computations for machinery and fluid capacities.
•Communicate with team members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers to support maintenance needs and documentation.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 6 months of documented mechanic work experience, or be a graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program (experience can combine employers as long as it totals at least 6 months).
•Knowledge of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronics, plumbing, and welding (experience or certification).
•Strong electronic skills; PLC operation knowledge is a plus.
•Ability to complete required training and keep daily documentation in Tyson SAP software.
•Ability to lift 50 lbs periodically and work on your feet for up to 12 hours, with capability to perform required physical demands (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Education:Certification / Diploma in Industrial maintenance training program
