Key Responsibilities

•Lead HVAC discipline components of PS&E packages from concept through construction documents.
•Develop and apply advanced HVAC design methodologies, including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork/piping design, and energy modelling.
•Serve as Lead Verifier to ensure client scope and expectations are met.
•Prepare and review complex technical specification sections for HVAC systems.
•Develop construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates for HVAC scopes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline.
•Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HVAC engineering with a track record of leading discipline deliverables on complex projects.
•In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems including AHUs, chilled/heating water, VAV, exhaust and ventilation, and controls integration.
•Proficiency in load calculation and energy modelling software (e.g., Trane TRACE, eQUEST, HAP, or equivalent).
•Strong knowledge of codes and standards (ASHRAE, IMC, NFPA, local codes) and ability to work independently while delivering high-quality outputs.
