Job Summary

Lead WSP’s Southern Wisconsin office by strengthening leadership capacity and ensuring delivery excellence across People & Culture, Clients, Operational Excellence, and Expertise. Partner with District Leadership to mentor staff, manage client relationships and project portfolios, and drive regional growth. Shape the Wisconsin practice’s strategic plan, support transportation and safety-focused technical work, and oversee pursuits, performance, and key business metrics in the Milwaukee and Madison area.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Foster a collaborative, inclusive People & Culture, including engagement, development, recognition, and safety/ethics/sustainability.
•Manage client relationships and support cross-selling, visibility in civic/industry forums, and strategic growth in Wisconsin.
•Develop the Wisconsin practice strategic plan and support technical delivery for integrated multi-modal systems, complete streets, and safety-related projects.
•Help execute local growth and business development strategies, monitor project performance, and ensure delivery excellence.
•Lead and manage key pursuits by identifying champions and aligning technical staff and partnerships to secure new work.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
•Minimum 7 years of experience in the A/E/C industry focused on transportation.
•Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
•Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
•Familiarity and relationships with Wisconsin DOT, municipal and county agencies, and local business partners.
