Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain the Turbine/Generator Long Range Plan.
  • •Lead and manage turbine generator projects from requirements through implementation, ensuring safe delivery within scope, cost, and schedule.
  • •Manage vendor contracts as the Owner’s Representative and provide oversight of consultants and contractors for compliance with policies, procedures, specifications, and standards.
  • •Establish and maintain processes for scope management across the project lifecycle, including setting quality/performance standards and assessing risks.
  • •Drive adherence to pre-outage and outage work management milestones, troubleshoot schedule/cost impacts, and report outcomes/risks to management channels while escalating issues as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school or secondary school diploma with 8 years’ experience OR a bachelor’s degree or higher with five years’ experience.
  • •5-8 years of project management experience, preferably with steam turbine projects, plus experience in construction management or the power generation industry.
  • •4 years’ experience at a commercial nuclear power plant (preferred).
  • •PMP or IPMA certification desired (will be required within 2 years of becoming the Project Manager).
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Maximo), plus strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills.
