Key Responsibilities

•Operate yard tractor safely to remove loaded trailers from the docks and stage empty trailers by priority in the appropriate door; greet and direct incoming carriers.
•Coordinate with the team to manage the trailer pool schedule effectively.
•Conduct frequent yard checks; monitor and communicate trailer pool status; enforce yard safety guidelines.
•Perform pre/post trip truck checklists; keep equipment clean and maintain yard 5S standards; work outdoors in varying weather.
•Make 40-60 trailer moves per shift and ensure accuracy of BOL paperwork and trailer seals; may deliver off-property when necessary.

Key Requirements

•Class A License
•Experience operating a tractor-trailer in various conditions and environments
•Lift cases weighing 20-60 pounds
•Must pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
•Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; basic Excel & Outlook
