Job Summary

Deliver portfolio-oriented investment solutions for clients and prospects of the HSBC Private Bank. Partner with Relationship Managers to advise within each client’s risk profile, developing and communicating comprehensive investment strategies and monitoring performance and suitability. Proactively identify investment opportunities, coordinate with internal teams to align strategic and tactical execution, and support new initiatives and product enhancements while staying compliant with HSBC policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Position and deliver portfolio-oriented investment solutions to HSBC Private Bank clients and prospects.
•Partner with Relationship Managers to provide investment solutions aligned to clients’ risk profiles.
•Assess client needs, develop and communicate investment strategies, coordinate advice and execution, and monitor portfolio performance and appropriateness.
•Monitor client portfolios for performance, appropriateness, and opportunities; provide updates on investment opportunities to clients and internal stakeholders.
•Ensure compliance with HSBC and regulatory policies and maintain knowledge of competitor capabilities, products, and pricing.

Key Requirements

•Extensive knowledge of private banking business, including the competitive and regulatory environment.
•Solid portfolio advisory skills and experience.
•Strong client-focused approach with sales, analytic, technical, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
•Ability to assess client needs, develop and communicate comprehensive portfolio investment strategy, and coordinate advice and execution against that strategy.
•Chartered Financial Analyst (or related qualifications) preferred; holder of Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Securities Futures Commission Type 1 and 4.
