Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across CNC machinery and specialised production equipment.
  • •Carry out mechanical fault finding and repairs across hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
  • •Support welding, fabrication, machining and sheet-metal work.
  • •Install, relocate and commission machinery, and manufacture/modifiy jigs, fixtures, guards and tooling.
  • •Assist with contractors and shutdowns, and mentor and supervise mechanical apprentices.

Key Requirements

  • •Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Maintenance Fitter) or equivalent.
  • •Proven industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC machinery, welding/fabrication or plant commissioning is highly regarded.
  • •High Risk Work licences such as EWP, forklift, dogging and confined space are advantageous, or willingness to obtain.
  • •Ability to be an Australian citizen and obtain/maintain an appropriate Defence security clearance.
