Job Summary

Senior Accountant responsible for compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data; oversees GAAP-compliant records, budgeting, MIS reports, audits, and real-time financial reporting; handles generalized and cost accounting, fixed assets, inventory, and ERP SAP usage within a GCC-based organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform general or cost accounting activities requiring some insight and depth of understanding.
•Apply accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
•Ensure proper handling of financial transactions and transaction approvals within designated limits; assist in MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts.
•Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards; ensure data accuracy in financial reports and proficient use of delegated software.
•Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses; provide actionable advice and ensure real-time data availability.
•Establish tables of accounts and ensure entries are recorded to assigned account numbers; maintain data fluidity and provide information as required.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Accounts and Finance; Professional qualification CPA or ACCA
•Minimum 5 years of working experience, with 3 years relevant experience; GCC experience is a plus
•Excellent knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting; strong understanding of month-end processes
•ERP knowledge; SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role
•Strong financial management and accounting capabilities; analytical mindset and attention to detail
