Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, commission, and troubleshoot automated industrial electrical-electronic controls and installations
  • •Provide PLC and robotic application support, including PLC and HMI programming
  • •Troubleshoot and repair/replace faulty electrical components and logic, and perform electrical setup
  • •Provide mechanical support for automated production equipment (assembly, disassembly, rebuild) and diagnose/replacing mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic components
  • •Test malfunctioning machinery, review schematics/manuals, and support off-hours/emergency call-ins to repair equipment

Key Requirements

  • •Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology, or a related field
  • •And/or 2+ years of direct experience with automated equipment or machine assembly
  • •Experience with networking (Ethernet, serial, and data highway) and factory automation software
  • •Working knowledge of PLCs (Studio 5000 and legacy RsLogix 500/Allen Bradley SLC, Siemens) plus FANUC robots and Cognex Vision systems
  • •Ability to read electrical/mechanical blueprints and demonstrate advanced safety, troubleshooting, and control-system/programming skills
