Job Summary

Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and related equipment. Under direct supervision, you’ll work with Directional/RSS and M/LWD sensor systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectively. You’ll also support assembly and disassembly of drilling and logging while drilling down-hole tools, applying electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

•Under direct supervision, perform diagnoses, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and related equipment.
•Support maintenance activities for equipment used in down-hole tools, including Directional/RSS and/or M/LWD sensors.
•Ensure all duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
•Apply specialization areas such as mechanical aptitude and electronics aptitude to troubleshoot and service tools.
•Perform assembly and disassembly of Measure While Drilling and/or Logging While Drilling down-hole tools.

Key Requirements

•Technical school certificate (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
•Associate degree or higher preferred.
•Ability to perform diagnoses, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and equipment.
•Familiarity with down-hole tools including Directional/RSS and/or M/LWD sensors.
•Strong electronics and mechanical aptitude for assembly and disassembly of down-hole tools.
