Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for assigned markets, preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
  • •Review and analyze profit and loss and balance sheet movements; ensure group policy and local statutory compliance.
  • •Own and maintain balance sheet integrity through timely reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items and unusual transactions.
  • •Manage indirect tax compliance (VAT/GST and local filings), support corporate income tax compliance and provisioning, and assist with tax audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • •Prepare annual statutory financial statements and support audit schedules and responses; coordinate local and group audit activities and drive process improvements and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • •Previous experience in financial accounting or statutory accounting with strong month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience.
  • •Experience with indirect taxes (VAT/GST) and corporate tax compliance.
  • •Experience supporting external and internal audits.
  • •Knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements; strong analytical/problem-solving skills and advanced Excel plus ERP systems experience.
