Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform complex structural analyses for aerospace components, including static, fatigue, and fracture analysis using hand and computer calculations.
  • •Define, assess, and document repair designs for metallic, bonded metallic, and advanced composite structures and develop standard repair instructions with the MRB.
  • •Analyze repair proposals and prepare formal engineering reports supporting minor and major repairs for customers and FAA approval, including obtaining authorized engineering signatures.
  • •Provide limited direction to others in stress analysis and act as technical lead on assigned projects as needed.
  • •Develop and implement process improvements for engineering production support workflows, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinate with internal teams and external customers to drive quality, productivity, and cost reductions.
