Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build mission-critical data services for the Data Product team.
  • •Create scalable data models and architectures to support sub-second latency for querying blockchain data.
  • •Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to implement data models that power TRM’s products.
  • •Document design decisions and tradeoffs, communicating them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Mentor engineers or analysts and contribute to data engineering best practices and code quality.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting scalable API development and distributed system architecture, from ideation through production deployment
  • •Proficiency in Python, with adeptness in SQL or SparkSQL
  • •Experience with data stores such as BigQuery and Postgres; ability to design pipelines and data platforms from scratch
  • •Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT) and data processing technologies (Dataflow, Spark, Kafka, Flink)
