  • •Maintain properties during the void period to keep them secure, protected from deterioration, and to the highest standard.
  • •Inspect properties regularly, identify maintenance requirements early, and ensure homes remain secure, wind and weatherproof.
  • •Manage heating and water systems to prevent damage during vacancy and support compliant statutory/mandatory inspections.
  • •Produce accurate weekly and monthly reports, manage utility information, and keep photographic/condition records.
  • •Report security concerns, vandalism, and unauthorised occupation immediately and collaborate with colleagues and supply-chain partners.

Salary: GBP 32,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Take ownership of a portfolio of vacant Service Family Accommodation and maintain high standards throughout the void period.
  • •Carry out detailed property inspections, complete condition surveys, and produce photographic records at the start and end of the void period.
  • •Be able to identify defects, prepare initial repair scopes of work, and highlight improvements to the void maintenance process.
