Job Summary

Develop and optimize CNC machining programs for shop-floor production, using Mastercam and Siemens NX to define cutting tools, create setup guides, and ensure efficient, accurate manufacturing. Review CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications to program CNC operations, then collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues and meet tight tolerances. Continuously improve machining processes to reduce cycle time and waste while providing technical support on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop CNC machining programs using Mastercam and Siemens NX, select cutting tools, and create detailed setup guides.
•Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to build accurate CNC programs.
•Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot machining issues and ensure product quality within tight tolerances.
•Continuously improve machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
•Provide timely technical support to the shop floor and maintain good housekeeping.

Key Requirements

•Engineering or technical-related course.
•CNC programming using Mastercam or Siemens NX.
•2 to 4 years of experience in CNC programming.
•Operate CNC machines as a machinist and understand G-code and M-code programming.
•Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and CAD drawings, including knowledge of GD&T principles.
