Key Responsibilities

  • •Feed and water birds in accordance with the schedule.
  • •Walk floors daily to examine birds for signs of illness or injury; treat and manage mortality per instructions.
  • •Place pen partitions, segregate birds by line and age, and maintain pen layout.
  • •Clean and disinfect waterers and pens; perform routine housekeeping and repairs on pens and equipment.
  • •Record information such as line, MG, bird weights, feed and water intake, and mortality.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
  • •If laid off or providing child/elder care, the employment gap may be increased to 18 months.
  • •Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
  • •Rehire criteria includes a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
