Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers to maintain equipment reliability and safety.
  • •Complete oil changes, greasing, and repair or replacement tasks such as semi tire service.
  • •Perform brake repair or replacement on semi-trucks and trailers.
  • •Maintain a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •Document maintenance information and communicate with others written and verbally.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic mechanical/maintenance skills and mechanical/maintenance skills listed in your work history or application skills.
  • •Must have a current Arkansas Driver’s License and be able to pass the Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
  • •Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic, and hand tools and read/understand policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • •Must supply your own tools for minimum maintenance and be able to document information.
  • •Must be 18+ and meet physical requirements, including lifting 60 pounds and using stairs/ladders up to 30 feet.
