Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide advice and operational guidance into the QEAF Typhoon EW capability, including Typhoon MD production and maintenance.
  • •Plan and coordinate Typhoon EW activities to support QEAF Typhoon operations and provide integral day-to-day support.
  • •Supervise and provide at-elbow support to up to two EW SMEs and mentor subordinate staff for operationally focused customer support.
  • •Design and support continuous development of the Typhoon EW MD capability, including processes and lifecycle management.
  • •Act as the Typhoon EW lead/customer point of contact and liaise across industry teams to respond to EW-related queries.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified and experienced EW expert with experience in an operational EW environment.
  • •Understanding of the operational aspects of Typhoon capabilities, specifically the EW systems.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of the EW toolsets used within the QEAF EWOS solution, including capabilities and limitations.
  • •Experience working with military teams producing Typhoon EW MD.
  • •Maintain operational knowledge of current and future EW aspects of Typhoon and the Air Environment.
