Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise financial institutions within the FSRA risk-based supervisory plan and execute the supervisory approach.
  • •Develop supervisory plans/strategies for assigned firms to mitigate supervisory concerns and conduct periodic risk assessments.
  • •Use supervisory tools such as onsite reviews, third-party reviews, and information requests to support supervisory reviews.
  • •Review periodic reports/returns, deliver implementation controls/progress reports, and take prompt action on deficiencies and non-compliances.
  • •Assist in enhancing supervisory procedures and the regulatory framework, and participate in or lead delegated projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of experience working in banking supervision or related roles.
  • •Strong knowledge of banking sector regulations, products, services, and market practices.
  • •Experience assessing risks to identify trends and concerns and determine appropriate remedial action and future regulatory requirements.
  • •Well-developed written and oral communications, with strong internal and external stakeholder management.
  • •Fluent in business English; proficiency in Arabic is desirable.
