Lead mechanical valve operations for Barakah Nuclear Power Plant outages, overseeing turbine and refuel services with contractors to meet long-term outage plans and NAWAH standards. Responsible for maintenance, testing, NDE, and engineering activities to ensure safe, reliable plant operations and effective procurement and documentation related to valves.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead valve maintenance, inspections, testing (AOV/MOV/RV) and component replacement to keep plant operations safe and reliable.
•Perform valve performance testing and NDE testing to maintain system fidelity and safe operations.
•Conduct engineering activities related to valves, establish performance monitoring plans, and review plant design changes or temporary modifications for safety and operational excellence.
•Support procurement for spare parts and develop installation/service contract documents to ensure contracted services are delivered efficiently.
•Maintain and update valve procedures, perform periodic tests, and administer equipment/material master data for BNPP inventory.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
•8 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in a nuclear power plant engineering.
•Valve experience: AOV/MOV/RV maintenance, inspections and testing (including NDE).
•Valve-related certifications: Valve Testing Certified and NDE Certified.
•Experience in engineering activities for valves, including performance monitoring, design changes reviews, procurement for spare parts, and procedure updates.
