Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and mentor staff whose responsibilities span all phases of the software engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, verification, and configuration management.
  • •Provide direction for software capability development, integration onto target hardware, issue troubleshooting and resolution, and support for field demonstrations and integration efforts.
  • •Oversee resource allocation and administrative management of the team, including employee engagement, coaching, mentoring, and career development.
  • •Ensure performance excellence through continuous feedback, performance management processes, and onboarding/training activities.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable navigation software for military applications within the APNT/MANTA portfolio.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or advanced STEM degree with 7+ years (or 10+ years with a related degree) of relevant experience
  • •U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance (Secret)
  • •Ability to travel domestically as needed
  • •Experience leading software engineering teams and mentoring staff across the software lifecycle
  • •Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
