Key Responsibilities

•Lead and mentor staff whose responsibilities span all phases of the software engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, verification, and configuration management.
•Provide direction for software capability development, integration onto target hardware, issue troubleshooting and resolution, and support for field demonstrations and integration efforts.
•Oversee resource allocation and administrative management of the team, including employee engagement, coaching, mentoring, and career development.
•Ensure performance excellence through continuous feedback, performance management processes, and onboarding/training activities.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable navigation software for military applications within the APNT/MANTA portfolio.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or advanced STEM degree with 7+ years (or 10+ years with a related degree) of relevant experience
•U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance (Secret)
•Ability to travel domestically as needed
•Experience leading software engineering teams and mentoring staff across the software lifecycle
•Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
